We are seeking to appoint a Civil Engineer | Project Manager for our Community Development team in Perth. In this role you will the project manager for a variety of urban, land and subdivision projects in both the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio. You will have the opportunity to resolve design constraints, coordinate projects, interface with various disciplines and deliver projects with the support of a multi-disciplinary team.
Stantec’s community development team are responsible for the delivery of a variety of projects across numerous disciplines and sectors of all sizes including but not limited to greenfield master planned communities, mixed-use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes.We activate urban downtowns, suburban centers, small towns, and rural areas—and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.
Day to day tasks would involve :
Project management of urban, land and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to construction
Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects
Manage projects including scheduling and the preparation of project budgets
Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
Undertake and manage site inspections
Contribute to the development of Stantec’s knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design, and construction
Maintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clients
Assist in the securing and delivery of projects by way of business development and client relationship management
What you will bring to the team
Bachelor of Civil Engineering
Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban, land and subdivisions
Experience and a sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modelling and construction
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including report writing.
