Role responsibilities :
Manage, identify, develop and plan business change management deliverables and resources required to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of clinical IM / ICT program / project(s) which meets business needs.
Ensure strategic alignment to the realisation of business benefits by establishing baseline measures and metrics that can be monitored throughout the project Lifecyle and post implementation.
Manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of a large scale, complex project in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following :
Proven experience in the development, documentation, implementation and evaluation of business change in clinical IM / ICT program / project(s) within a healthcare environment, using appropriate industry standards and techniques within a healthcare environment. (SFIA Skill : CIPM : Level 5, ORDI : Level 5, METL : Level 5)
Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders within a healthcare environment. (SFIA Skill : RLMT : Level 5)
Proven high level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective oral and high quality written communication skills for use in a complex program / project environment with a high degree of attention to detail. (NHS : Effective and strategic influencing)
Specific working conditions :
Travel : Employees may be required to undertake travel, including consecutive overnight absences (up to two weeks), and work in any other location in Queensland as determined by business needs and may be requested at short notice.
Variable hours : Weekend and afterhours work may be required (at various locations in Queensland as determined by business needs) and may be requested at short notice.
Experience / qualifications : Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification (Prince2 or Agile Project Management) and / or background in Information Communication Technology would be well regarded.
