The Role |

Join the design team as a Design Sourcing Specialist - In this role you will source and develop fabrics and trims in line with seasonal collections.

• Contribute to seasonal Fabric and Trim meetings
• Ordering and tracking delivery of all SMS raw materials in line with Critical Path key dates.
• Overseeing seasonal component library for handover to Production.
• Identify new trends and developments in fabrics and trims
• Source suppliers for development
• Maintain fabric and trim trackers with sampling liability, cancelled orders etc. Development
• Create and manage a system for storing sourced materials that is accessible for all teams

The Skillset |

• Ideally have completed a tertiary course in Fashion and / or Textiles and preferably have at least 5 year's work experience in a similar role.
• Have a good knowledge of fabrics & trims and a keen interest in fashion.
• Be able to combine both creative and technical skills.
• Able to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
• Be exceptionally well organized and methodical.
• Computer skilled, particularly in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience of AP21 or a similar program.
• Excellent relationships with all suppliers resulting on consistent on-time delivery of all raw materials.
• Accurate fabric & trim set up and maintenance in production system AP21.
• Clear knowledge of fabric & trim development and production.
• Able to meet critical path deadlines in a timely manner.
