• The Role
• We are currently seeking FIFO HD Fitters on a full-time basis working in the Pilbara region at various sites.
• Apprenticeships Available!!
• Scheduled / preventative maintenance, break down, and repair. Mining / Civil Industry exposure is ideal!!
• Family friendly & Flexible rosters available!!

• HD Fitter - Grade 1 - 1-2 years - $75.00ph
• HD Fitter - Grade 2 - 3-4 years - $80.00ph
• HD Fitter - Grade 3 - 5+ years - $85.00ph
• Skills and Experiences
• Key Tasks and responsibilities may include
• Mechanical service and breakdown support on a range of Hitachi, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Cat dozers, graders, loaders, and other ancillary equipment.
• Tasks will be conducted from within the workshop and In-Pit, as required.
• Use sophisticated diagnostic equipment and techniques to perform component replacements on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and air machine systems.
• Report all equipment faults to the maintenance supervisor for scheduling into workshop weekly planning.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health & safety policies / procedures.
• To be successful the following is required
• Australian recognized Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with a minimum of 2 years post-trade experience in a field / on-site environment.
• OEM (Cat / Hitachi / Komatsu) experience highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and have a strong commitment to continuous improvement principles.
• Strive to assist the Customer to achieve machine availability and reliability KPIs.
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical, DAS & ongoing compliance with fitness for work policy.
• Air Conditioning ticket & fire suppression system experience desirable.
• HR license desirable.
