Company DescriptionThe Nine Engineering staff provide support for all station IT and broadcast requirements in Adelaide. Supported Systems include Laptops, PCs, Printers, Studio Control room / News systems including hardware and software, Broadcast Cameras, Editing Suites, Graphic Suites.
The Technology Analyst role requires shift work to maintain and support all on station and remote systems on a 7-days roster.
Day to day you will :
- Provide system support to News, Operation and Sales Staff.
- Work closely with other technology team members
- Regularly perform equipment test and tag
- PC\Laptop re-image and prepare them as per news and sales requirements
- Interact with vendors to source repair parts and new products
- Repair broadcast equipment including camera, lights and audio equipment.
- Provide input for resolution of operational technical issues, such as upgrade paths and workflow changes, etc
- Contribute to technology knowledge base by creating troubleshooting documentations
- Provide initial support to Control Room systems, including MOSART, VIZ Graphics, VSM and Dante
- Provide support for a range of Editing systems, including Velocity, Premier Pro
- Provide initial support for a range of broadcast-centric systems such as KVM matrices, Multiviewers and talkback systems
- Provide support for the Master Control environment
- Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, you will have :
- Previous experience in a technical support or engineering role within the broadcasting or IT industry
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology, including IT / Broadcast systems
- Proven ability to problem-solve and analyse technical aspects of complex systems
- Capability to work under pressure and adhere to processes and procedures
- Ability to learn new systems and their integration into existing systems and workflows Bachelors or Certificate VI in Electronics or Computer Science or equivalent
