This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of maintaining a future focused electricity network for the ACT.This position will operate on a shift roster, with the successful candidate working on reactive as well as planned works to ensure reliable power for the Canberra community.

This opportunity will be offered as a two year placement.Key responsibilities : Distribution asset construction and maintenance including cable termination, mini pillar maintenance and switchgear maintenanceFault response and fault rectification worksThe installation of services from Evoenergy distribution network to customers premisesConnection and disconnection of supply including non-payment of account disconnectionsParticipate in on-call & shift-work rosters as necessary based on Evoenergy policy.Customer quality of supply investigations and electrical infrastructure testingOur ideal candidate : You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community, championing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environmentMinimum Certificate III Systems Electrician.Previous successful work in field on construction and / or maintenance of network infrastructure.High risk license – EWPOH&S General Induction CardAsbestos Awareness trainingHold a current ACT motor vehicle licence or its acceptable equivalent.About EvoenergyWe own, maintain and operate the electricity distribution network in the ACT and the gas network in the ACT and parts of NSW.
