Base pay rangeA$60.00 / hr - A$65.00 / hr

About the Company :

Our client is a medium sized FMCG company with a global parent company based in the southeast suburbs. With goods being imported and some local manufacturing, they are looking for a Supply Planner with previous FMCG experience.Due to internal movements, a contract opportunity is available for 6 months. There is a strong possibility of permanency for the right person.

About the Role :

The Supply Planner is responsible for inventory management & planning, ensuring the availability of finished goods & materials to meet the aligned demand plan and budgeted inventory level targets. This includes ordering of imported finished goods, locally manufactured goods & materials required for our local plant while collecting and distributing information to suppliers and internal stakeholders through regular forecasts and reporting.

Key Duties :

Run MRP & action where required to ensure inventory availability.Generate Production Orders (PRO), Purchase Orders (PO) & Transfer Orders (TO) in line with MRP suggestions.Regular review of all PO's in place, delivery status & DIFOT reporting.Maintain & update PO / TO status in the ERP system, ensuring data accuracy.Identify supply risks based on demand plan to enable corrective actions with Demand Planning, Customer Service & Sales.Co-ordinate any external manufacturing requirements liaising with nominated co-packers.Liaise with 3PL ensuring data and stock integrity.Monitor & resolve any ERP interface errors caused by data mis-alignments

Skills & Experiences :

The role would suit someone with experience in planning, ideally within a FMCG environment and experience within a top tier ERP system would be highly regarded.
