We offer tailored services in Supported Independent Living (SIL), Community Access Supports, and In-home care , ensuring everyone's needs and goals are met with compassion and professionalism.

We are actively seeking Support Workers for the following locations :

Sunshine Coast : Caloundra, Nambour, Kiamba, and Sippy Downs
Gympie : SIL homes in the Gympie region

Role Highlights :

SIL Homes (Gympie & Mango Hill) : Provide consistent, hands-on support, including personal care tasks.

Community Access & In-Home Support : Assist participants with daily living tasks, transportation, and meaningful community engagement.

Role Overview As a Support Worker, you will :

Assist participants in achieving daily goals and building capacity.

Maintain safety and stability through person-centred support.

Collaborate closely with Team Leaders and families.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver support aligned with each participant's individual support plan.

Provide personal care, domestic assistance, and support during sleepovers.

Facilitate access to community activities, appointments, and social events.

Build strong, respectful relationships with participants and their families.

Implement strategies from Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) and use restrictive practices (if authorised).

Respond calmly and effectively to behaviours of concern or crisis situations.

Document progress and incidents accurately and professionally.

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting individuals with complex behaviour and mental health diagnoses.

Proficiency in medication management and manual handling.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Calm, confident, and professional demeanour under pressure.

A genuine passion for person-centred care and empowering others.

Minimum of 12 months experience in disability support.

Valid driver's license and own vehicle.

Current paid employee Blue Card.

Current paid employee Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Clearance.

NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willingness to obtain before employment).

Full Australian working rights.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Access to a smartphone with internet capability.

Two recent professional references from a supervisor.
