An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Support Worker for School Aged Childcare within the Childcare Strategy Team.
In this post you will support the smooth running of Kids Clubs and Wraparound Care Services.
You will be expected to work as a member of the Kids Club Team and wider team contributing to children's learning and development within a safe and inclusive environment out with school hours in a registered childcare service.
A flexible approach to working conditions will be required to work; the contracted hours are 18 hours per week, between - 6pm and on a rota basis during holiday periods.

Skills & Experience Required
You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) for Day Care of Children within 3 months of starting with us and be registered within 6 months, and responsible for maintaining annual membership.
You will hold a childcare qualification with one of the following :
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate experience within early learning or a childcare environment with a good knowledge of childcare and the relevant governing bodies (SSSC, Care Inspectorate).
The individual appointed will demonstrate excellent planning and organisation skills; the ability to maintain office procedures and systems, establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents and carers and other professionals to ensure the effective delivery of services.
