The Opportunity

The UGL Rail & Technology Systems sector is seeking experienced Drafters to design and prepare engineering drawings for projects based in Perth, WA.

Some key responsibilities of this role will include

Understand and prepare engineering documentation as directed-

Prepare drawings and Models to budgeted hours and timeframes as directed-

Ensure drawings are comprehensively set out and fully dimensioned with reasonable tolerances to facilitate effective construction or manufacture using normally available equipment and process-

Check the drawings prepared by the other draftspersons when directed

About You

Must have experience with AutoCAD and / or MicroStation in the relevant discipline for Building or Transport infrastructure projects-

Experience with 2D and / or 3D Modelling-

Familiarity with AS1100 drafting standards-

Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands-

Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.-

Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.
