What you can expect
The IT Administrator is responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring hardware and software systems to ensure optimal performance and availability across the organisation.
- Plan, install, configure, maintain, and update physical and virtual machines, NAS / SAN storage systems, and backup solutions.
- Proactively monitor backend infrastructure and network services in real-time.
- Develop and maintain IT documentation, and support the implementation of internal IT policies and procedures.
- Liaise with stakeholders, suppliers, service providers, and vendors across the business.
- Manage and enforce security protocols including network, web, email, and endpoint security.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues related to servers, workstations, and communication infrastructure.
- Manage, prioritise, and escalate support requests via a ticketing system, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Perform regular patch management and apply OS / application updates in a timely and controlled manner.
- Deploy and manage Microsoft desktop products and services (M365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Administer third-party software using Microsoft SCCM.
- Configure and manage mobile devices via Microsoft Intune MDM.
- Test newly requested software for compatibility with the organisation’s standard operating environment (SOE).
- Schedule and monitor backups, and conduct test
What you will bring
Skills
Strong knowledge of Windows 10 / 11 operating systems.Advanced skills in deploying and managing client hardware and software (workstations, laptops, mobile devices, etc.).Excellent communication skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.Creative problem-solving abilities, open-mindedness, and an awareness of cost-efficiency.Qualification & Experience
Industry certification (e.g., Microsoft AZ-900, CompTIA A+) or a degree in Information Technology or a related field.2 - 3 years of experience in IT support, system configuration, hardware / software maintenance, and incident / problem analysis.What we offer
