Pinpoint Talent is seeking an APS5 Policy Officer to join the team within this Federal Government Agency.

  • ACT location
  • Hourly Rate of $50 -$55 +Super
  • 12 months contract
  • What you will do

    • We are looking for a variety of APS5 Policy Officers to deliver high-quality advice and service.

    The role provides an excellent opportunity to assist in the development and implementation of significant government innovation policies, including working with other agencies, stakeholder organisations and businesses.

    You will :

  • Interpret, plan and draft policy and procedural directions within specialist areas
  • Assist in the development of policy documents for review and publication
  • Support the provision of technical advice in specific areas of policy, and
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Stakeholder relations skills
  • Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Flexibility, adaptability and resilience
  • Results-focused mindset, combined with teamwork and collaboration skills.
