Field Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician looking for a full-time opportunity to join our team. This is a diverse & interesting role where you can support our growing customer base with maintenance & repair requirements for Compressed Air & ancillary equipment.

You will be provided with a company vehicle, mobile phone and tablet.

• Key Responsibilities Include
• Install, repair and maintain the range of Compressors
• Troubleshooting & fault finding
• Routine & general maintenance & servicing of compressed air systems
• Testing, auditing & commissioning compressed air equipment
• Project support activities on control, drives & starters related to Compressors
• Offering a service solution & developing business partnerships with clients
• Attending breakdowns on a call-out roster 24 / 7
• Working in a field service environment
• Customer service
• Conduct the risk assessment and ensure the working environment is safe at all times and activities conducted are safe and don't harm self or other employees or customer employees
• Eliminate risks in the working environment by conducting housekeeping, and working with the Customer's line manager to eliminate or at least mitigate the hazards before commencing work
• Promote and support the reporting of incidents such as near miss, accident or equipment.
• Mechanical Trade Certificate (Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Automotive Electrician)
• Compressor experience (preferred)
• Ability to work autonomously in a workshop & site environment
• Current driver's license
• A commitment to workplace safety
• Strong communication & time management
• Excellent customer service
• Good computer skills
• A Restricted Electrical License is desirable, however not essential

Pay : $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours : 38 per week
