Position : Heavy Diesel Technician – Crane Focus
Location : Perth
Employment Type : [CONTRACT / POTENTIAL PERM]
Rate : $65-70 / hr
Overview :
We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Diesel Technician with strong expertise in engine and driveline systems , specifically suited to mobile crane service and repair .
The ideal candidate will come from a heavy vehicle, plant, or crane maintenance background, with hands-on experience working on diesel-powered, mobile lifting equipment.
Key Requirements :
- Proven experience with heavy diesel engines , transmissions , and driveline systems
- Prior work on mobile cranes , heavy plant, trucks, or similar machinery
- Relevant trade qualification (e.g. Heavy Diesel Mechanic Certificate III or IV)
- Working from heights certification(s)
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and repair capabilities
- Ability to work autonomously and in field service environments
