Position Summary :

We are looking for a Boilermaker to join our skilled on-site team.

The Boilermaker is responsible for the installation and erection of steel, specifically for architectural stairs in commercial fit-outs.

This role is required to follow plans accurately, follow site safety rules and always work in a safe manner.

Key Requirements :

• Proven experience as boilermaker
• Must be qualified boilermaker
• Hands-on experience working on commercial sites
• High level of communication
• Adherence to production deadlines and time management
• A high proficiency in reading shop drawings and site marking plans
• Work on-site and factory when required
• Understanding of safe and effective operation of different welding machines and other tools required to complete job
• Knowledge of applicable safety equipment and safe practices to minimise the risk of injury or damage
• Team player
• Must have valid driver's licence and own vehicle

Job Responsibility :

• Follow shop drawings / plans to meet the project requirements
• Work in a safe manner and always follow safety rules

Pay : $47.00 - $51.00 per hour

Expected hours : No less than 40 per week

Schedule :

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Licence / Certification :

• Australian driver's licence (preferred)
• Boilermaker qualification (Australian) (preferred)
