About the business and the role

Our client has been successfully producing quarry products since 1996, due to expansion / increased workload at their Anakie Site they are now seeking a Boilermaker / Fitter to join and support the team in ongoing maintenance and light fabrication work associated with the quarry's fixed and mobile plant equipment.

Duties and responsibilities

General fabrication of equipment and plant machinery.

Assembly and installation of equipment, including repairs and modifications.

Reading drawings, fabricate, cutting and welding steel accordingly.

Welding experience in MIG & TIG.

Skills and Experience

Equivalent welding / fabrication experience.

Experience in the fabrication and installation of equipment.

Strong communication skills.

The ability to use hand and power tools.

Complete understanding of OH&S requirements

Industry knowledge of transport and or Quarry operations highly regarded.
