Your leadership and expertise will be called upon to develop and execute our strategic plans and play a major part in ensuring our strong focus on achieving a proactive safety, health and environment culture throughout the business.
As the primary interface within the locations supported, you will be responsible for day-to-day duties including but not limited to; Collaborating with Site Managers and Frontline leaders on safety, health and environment improvements, Audits, System Safety, Aviation Safety, facilitating safety meetings and risk assessments.
As the primary interface with Commonwealth and State / Territory WHS & Environmental regulators, you will lead and manage our WHS & Environmental management systems and advise relevant managers of any compliance issues, exercising sound judgement and expert advice.

As a Defence security clearance is required for this role, you must be an Australian Citizen. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are applicable, as such your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role. You will also need to satisfy pre-employment drug & alcohol testing, police checks and employment screening verification.
This position reports to Fairbairn, Australian Capital Territory, AUS, however, this position can also be worked from Symonston, Australian Capital Territory, Australian Capital Territory, AUS.
