We support adults and families, including accompanying children with accommodation, case management, outreach support, financial assistance, connection and referral to other specialist services.

Why this role matters
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a values-driven Reception and Program Administrator, provide reception, including initial client assessment and allocation to the appropriate service area or referral to other external services as appropriate and administrative support to our Peninsula Homelessness Service.
You will successfully
Screen incoming calls and assess client's needs to take appropriate actions and manage enquiries effectivelyProfessionally manage visitors in a courteous, efficient, and friendly mannerProvide support for walk in clientsDiary management and coordination of appointments and advising of client arrivalAssist with planning and logistics for meetings and events including the setup of Board and IT rooms, organising catering, and audio-visual requirementsPurchasing supplies and groceries for site as requiredDrive fleet vehicles to for servicing requirementsCarry out duties when required to provide backup relief for the Site AdministratorDistribute publications regarding other services to clients efficiently and accuratelyLiaise with external service providers as per schedule to ensure currency of external referral informationEnsure front of house is always neat and tidy, including undertaking regular cleaning of reception area and client meeting spacesThis is a permanent full-time position based in Frankston however coverage at our Rosebud site may be required at times. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, Level 2.
You will have
Relevant business qualification such as certificate IV or Diploma in Business AdministrationDemonstrate experience in reception / administration responsibilitiesIntermediate ability with Microsoft Word and Excel and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems preferredA current VIC Drivers LicenceValid VIC Employee Working with Children CheckAbility to provide proof of Eligibility to Work in AustraliaWe are committed to providing a safe environment for our people.
