We connect Indigenous entrepreneurs with government and corporate supply chains, deliver capability-building programs, and advocate for economic opportunities. QIBN is seeking its next CEO to translate Board strategy into action, expand our Indigenous Business Support Hubs, and amplify the voice of more than 3,000 Indigenous-owned businesses across Queensland.
The Opportunity Reporting to the QIBN Board, you will :
Provide visionary, hands-on leadership that embeds cultural integrity, transparency and strong governance.Grow and diversify revenue through commercial partnerships, grants and new service lines.Scale service delivery – from start-up stage to a sustainable, state-wide network of business hubs.Champion Indigenous enterprise in public forums, media, industry events and policy discussions.Build high-performing, culturally values-driven teams dispersed across Queensland, ensuring robust financial and operational management.Key Selection Criteria This is an Identified position open only to Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander applicants (Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 s25).
You will bring :
