Are you passionate about hospitality and dedicated to enriching the lives of others? Anglicare is looking for a compassionate and dynamic Kitchen Hand to join our team. This is more than just a job – it's an opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our residents by ensuring they receive top-notch service and care.

What You'll Do

Create Joyful Dining Experiences : Ensure all residents are respected and treated with empathy and dignity, offering them choices to live their daily lives uniquely and in line with their wellbeing. Maintain High Food Standards : Prepare food adhering to Anglicare's requirements, checking temperature, texture, and presentation to meet residents' preferences. Optimize Team Performance : Keep your team safe and efficient by organizing rosters, arranging training, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with WHS standards. Ensure Excellence : Oversee kitchen, dining room, and storeroom compliance with all legislative requirements, ensuring a clean and safe environment. Deliver Exceptional Service : Lead your servery staff to perform at their best, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and creating a warm, respectful dining atmosphere. Enhance Resident Wellbeing : Monitor and report on residents' behavior and contribute to their care plans, aiming to deliver 'moments of joy' during mealtimes. Manage Food Orders : Work with the manager to analyze facility needs, order the right quantities, and liaise with local suppliers. Promote a Safety Culture : Keep the workplace safe and clean, comply with safety rules, report hazards, and actively participate in safety activities.

What We're Looking For

Experience in a servery / hospitality environment. Food Safety and Handling Certificate highly desirable A commitment to Anglicare's Vision, Mission, and Values.
