WesTrac are looking for an experienced

• Manager
• to join our team based in South Guildford.

Reporting to the General Manager - Safety, Security and Risk, this individual will be responsible for contributing to the Health and Safety strategy development and its successful execution within the WA business unit, whilst ensuring that compliance with the relevant legislation and business requirements are maintained.

It provides leadership to the WA Health and Safety team with the aim of ensuring that WesTrac adheres to industry best practice, thereby enabling the business to meet the statutory Duty of Care requirements and the provision of an environment free from harm.

• To be successful the following is required
• Relevant tertiary qualification within the field of Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management or equivalent
• Significant experience working in a leadership role within a similar environment
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills to effectively resolve issues in the workplace
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
• Have advanced leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, influence and motivate
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively liaise at a high level and with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• High level of initiative and problem-solving skills with the ability influence positive outcomes
• Be able set and clearly communicate business targets and expectations aligned with WesTrac values
