As the Councils FOI Officer this position is responsible for efficiently and effectively processing Freedom of Information (FOI) applications in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the Act) and the appointed decision-maker.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting integrity transparency and access to information. Additionally it contributes to governance best practices and ensures legislative compliance across various matters including privacy.

Are you passionate about transparency and public access to information Were seeking a skilled and motivated Freedom of Information (FOI) Officer to manage and process FOI requests in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Vic) .
What Were Looking For :
Were looking for someone with strong analytical and communication skills who can work autonomously and collaboratively to deliver timely and accurate FOI services. Youll be responsible for assessing requests preparing documentation liaising with stakeholders and supporting reviews and complaints processes.
