About the role
The North West Hospital and Health Service (NWHHS) Service Manager Audit and Risk will be responsible for the coordination, monitoring and management of organisational risk across all areas of the Health Service.
Work closely with the Director of Strategic Planning, Improvement, Risk and Reporting, the Manager Audit and Risk will work as part of a dynamic team and be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring programs that advance patient safety, quality of care and risk across the NWHHS.
Provide audit and evaluation expertise, coordination and management to staff of the NWHHS supporting effective risk management, leading to safe practice and high-quality outcomes.
Promote and support a culture that encourages best practice, continuous improvement and a commitment to the delivery of safe, quality healthcare services.
Provide leadership and support to NWHH Board, executive and line managers to support and assist in meeting identified healthcare risks and issues, outcomes and improve efficiency through implementation of best practice, support key performance indicator achievements and implementation of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
