This is a temporary employment register. We are seeking to establish a pool of suitable applicants for short term contract opportunities in our Victim Engagement Officer roles within the Victim Services directorate in the Office of the Commissioner for Victims of Crime.
Your details will stay on our temporary register for four (4) months, after which time, you will need to reapply.
About the Office for the Commissioner for Victims of Crime
The Office of the Commissioner for Victims of Crime (OCVoC) promotes and safeguards the interests of victims of crime in the Western Australia justice system and is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the Departments response to victims of crime including policy and legislative reform, providing advice to government, and building collaborative work arrangements within the Justice portfolio, public sector and broader community.
Relevant to the advertised positions, a critical function of OCVoC is undertaken by the Victim Engagement Unit.
About The Role
The Victim Engagement Officer (VEO) is responsible for providing case management and victim engagement services for the Unit under direction. The position provides accurate information and advice to stakeholders, prepares reports and contributes to business improvement.
Eligibility
WWC positions – In accordance with the National Child Safety Principles, people who work directly with children and young people, you must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.
