Field Service Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Technician to carry out servicing repairs and maintenance on a range of material handling equipment. This position will be supporting our customers in Newcastle.

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and breakdowns in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets timesheets and any other administrative components.

Qualifications & Requirements :

• Current Drivers licence.
• Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic Automotive Electrician / Light Vehicle Mechanic Heavy Vehicle Plant Diesel Mechanic).
• Previous experience within the forklift industry or similar in an associated industry.

Skills and experience :

• Good diagnostic and repair skills.
• Strong work ethic and selfmotivation.
• Welldeveloped mechanical aptitude.
• Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry.
• Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures safe work practices statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
• Commitment to maintaining safe work practices.
