Partnering with global brands to local dairy producers, we integrate supply chain efficiencies and sustainable practices into everything we design and manufacture.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityWe specialise in the manufacture and supply of rigid plastic and metal packaging servicing for the consumer and industrial sectors.As Supply and Demand Planner, you will perform a pivotal role as the conduit between supply planning and manufacturing scheduling.This includes forecasting, demand & supply planning as well as the S&OP process to unlock capacity and maximise plant performance.Your key responsibilities will be to : Safety and Quality Engage in relevant WHS campaigns that actively drive a culture of behavioural safety and preventative safety measures and activities.
Maintain quality standards and controls to manufacture and produce packaging solutions that meet customer expectations and requirementsEnsure that work is carried out in a safe working manner (Take5 & LOTO) and maintaining safe working environments.Immediately report instances of near misses or incidents.ReliabilityComplete scheduled tasks and mechanical breakdown tasks as directed by the Maintenance SupervisorWork independently at times but also as part of a team to achieve the best outcome for the businessScope, complete, record and close out work using MEX Works OrdersSupport the production teamLiaise with Electrical Trades where requiredParticipate in Continuous Improvement Projects to achieve improved Safety, Productivity, Quality & ReliabilityMaintain spare parts inventory as requiredChallengesA developed safety awareness and ability to work within a strong safety cultureAn analytical ability to fault find and diagnose problemsWritten & verbal communication skillsDecision MakingProblem solving with a cost-effective solution that maximises production uptimePrioritising safety above all elseYour skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have : Prior experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of "good practice" preventative maintenance strategiesHydraulic and Pneumatics experienceRestricted or full electrical license desirable but not essentialBasic computer skills for record-keeping and data entryFault finding and problem solving diagnosisFollow preventative maintenance programQualificationsTrades qualified Fitter or equivalentWork Right Entitlement in Australia.Additional InformationAbout usOur vision is to lead the circular economy through packaging, reuse and recycling solutions.
