Environmental Audit Assistant

You will work directly with our industry recognised senior staff to deliver and grow this role.

Through our growth we have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Environmental Audit Assistant to join our Contaminated Land Management team in WA. You will work on a range of projects across the industry for government and private sectors, including major clients such as Chevron, BHP, Rio Tinto and Water Corporation.

• This role will see you involved in
• Working closely with Senversa's four WA auditors as part of the audit support team to deliver a variety of contaminated site audits.
• Undertaking comprehensive reviews of technical reports and assisting in preparation of audit reports.
• Assisting in the internal management of audits. Assisting with proposal preparation with opportunities for other business development.
• What you will bring to the team
• Bachelor Degree or higher in environmental science, environmental engineering, science, planning or other disciplines relevant to contaminated land assessments and remediation.
• 5+ years relevant experience in environmental consulting specialising in contaminated land projects.
• Technical specialty skills in one or more of the following areas : human health and / or ecological risk assessment, in-situ groundwater remediation, management of asbestos in soils, complex hydrogeological assessment, waste / landfill management and / or audit support.
• Ability to promote Senversa nationally by assisting principal staff with business development and marketing initiatives.
• Methodical and detail orientated working style.
• Ability to meet deadlines, a self-starter and highly motivated.
• Strong knowledge of Local, State and National environmental standards and guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with peers and clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Full Australian working rights.
