Technical Operation Architect

Job Description

Our client is responsible for managing and shaping the tax excise and superannuation systems that fund services for Australians. They are embarking on programs of work to modernise and improve the taxpayer experience. This includes the delivery of programs to streamline and integrate datadriven improvements to benefit staff and clients and evolve the digital service offering. Programs may be government or internally initiated impacting a broad ecosystem within the Australian community whole of government and industry.

About the role / Experience required :

Delivery will be focused to ensure solutions are resilient cost optimised scalable secure and highly performant. To achieve this goal they require delivery partners to work within blended agile teams in a multivendor environment. You must be able to respond dynamically to requests to support services for architecture design and / or delivery activities delivering on time and on budget.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice and implement largescale integrated cloud solutions to maximize resilience availability and cost optimisation.
• Has experience in evaluating operations performance automation opportunities and architecting failover and disaster recovery mechanisms.
• Experience providing strategic advice and architectural implementation of large scale integrated cloud solutions to maximise resilience availability and ensure maintainability scalability interoperability and security considering FinOps to ensure cost optimisation.
• Experience in architecting mechanisms to evaluate operations performance and opportunities for automation.
• Experience in architecting failover and disaster recovery.
• Experience in advising technical delivery and production support teams to optimize system outcomes.

Location : This role is based in Canberra Sydney Brisbane Adelaide or Melbourne.

Contract terms : 24 months to June 2027.

Security Requirements : Candidates require Australian citizenship along with an active BASELINE security clearance . Candidates will need to be willing to undergo preemployment checks which may include ID and work rights security clearance verification and any other client requested checks.
