The Service Delivery Office (SDO) is a leader in providing services under the Whole-of-Government Shared Services Program. The SDO presents a unique opportunity to be involved in developing innovative service delivery arrangements, with an approach to collaboration and sharing of resources that has the potential to add value to not only for existing customers but to set the scene for new ways of working across the Australian Public Service (APS).
The Client, Strategy & Enablement branch within the SDO is made up of four sections :
1. Client Strategy & Governance.
2. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Services.
3. Environment and Platform Management.
4. Performance Assurance & Enablement.
These areas engage with a wide range of stakeholders to provide effective planning, decision making, assurance, risk management and service optimisation to enable our clients to focus on their core business and better meet community needs.
The Performance Assurance & Enablement Section measures operational performance and reports on the financial, assurance, risk, and performance of the Service Delivery Office. The section also provides support to the SDO through financial and procurement management, assurance and risk management, data analytics, pricing strategies, and client cost recovery management.
The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the SDO Performance Framework and the associated reporting to our client agencies. These reports provide details of the shared services delivered by the SDO to its clients against agreed service level outcomes.
The Finance and Compliance Officer(s), under general guidance from the Assistant Director of Financial Management and the Assistant Director of Audit, Risk & Assurance, is responsible for :
