We currently have an exciting opportunity for a medical receptionist to join our Podiatry clinic in a casual capacity, 1x day a week + half alternative Saturdays. The hours will increase in a couple of months. We're looking for a reliable and motivated receptionist who can intertwine our company into their life and help continue our growing success. We need someone with a bubbly personality and polite phone manner, who is able to multitask in a high-pressure situation. We are looking for a positive team player who is prepared to go the extra mile for our patients and practitioners. Experience in medical, dental or allied health administration is essential.
- Your key responsibilities will include
- Scheduling and managing appointments
- We use Nookal, cloud-based website for booking appointments
- Answering the phone and forwarding patient queries to the relevant team member
- Taking payments at the end of appointments
- Greeting patients as they enter the clinic
- Sterilising instruments and general cleaning / tiding around the clinic
- Responsible for making a stock list and order goods when needed
- You will have
- Previous receptionist experience, noting that reception experience in the healthcare sector will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated administrative skills including computer literacy
- Strong customer service and patient focus skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn
