Operations Technician Support / SPA Support

This opportunity is for an experienced, highly skilled and safety focussed Operations Technician / Senior Permit Authority   to join our LNG Maintenance Team. This role is responsible for performing planned & breakdown maintenance activities as required to maintain a safe, reliable & efficient LNG plant.

About the role

• To fully understand and manage the Permit to Work Process and provide Operational support when required.
• Issue and manage permits, including daily issuance and Senior Permit Authority (SPA) coverage.
• Provide execution support during maintenance events on site including Shutdowns, as Operations Support .
• Provide isolation verification and hosing / fitting support, including long-term isolation verification

What are we looking for you to bring to the team

• Mechanical Fitting Trade
• Preferred experience in a Permit Authority role
• 5 to 10+ years of permit systems
• 5+ years’ experience in Heavy Industry, Oil and Gas preferred
• Intermediate computing and Microsoft office skills
• Capability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in restricted timeframes to support Project team
• Prior experience and demonstrated ability to perform within a team environment
• SAP experience and able to read drawings (P&IDs) would be desirable
