- which supports people with disability to live fulfilling, liberated and meaningful lives. We provide compassionate support workers and variety of other professionals to enable our participants to live as independently as possible. We offer support services for people with disability in Victoria.
- About the role
The role is very dependant on the person you are supporting. No two people are the same. We are a small and passionate management team, we want to build your capacity to be able to support any participant and manage any circumstances.
The hours are varied, we have shifts available in respite, in home care and community access.
We are looking at adding additional Disability Support Workers immediately to our St Albans and Sunbury based team
- Qualifications & experience
- Certificate 4 in Disability or equivalent highly regarded but not essential
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Must have

- Tasks & responsibilities
- Provide quality, direct, person-centred support
- Capacity building / teaching living skills
- Enhancing daily living skills and social & community participation
- Community support - going shopping, walks, outdoor activities, exercise etc
- In home care
- Supporting and enabling people to be live as independently as possible
- Create and maintain case notes, incident reports and other documentation to improve our services to participants
- Provide transport using personal vehicle and
- Personal care tasks
- Manual handling
- Supporting people with behavioural concerns
