- About the Role
We are currently seeking Track Supervisors to join our team on a Full-time Permanent basis working FIFO to Karratha, Western Australia. Working on an 2 : 1 roster, you will provide day to day management and supervision of the infrastructure maintenance staff.
Some Key Results Areas and Accountabilities are :
- Manage infrastructure maintenance staff to ensure maintenance and projects are completed within budget and agreed time frames
- Manage the process required to ensure the changes arising from the implementation of new strategies, policies / procedures and initiatives are effectively applied
- Provide coaching and leadership; and maintain effective communication channels
- Develop a culture of personal accountability and create an environment that encourages and rewards successful performance
- Ensure that the standard of workmanship is compliant relevant to specifications and work instructions and that specified inspections and tests are conducted in accordance with the approved inspection and test plans
- About You
To be successful in this role you must have the following :
- Point of hire in Western Australia
- WPW15 Track Safe Working Certification or ability to obtain
- Certificate III Rail infrastructure desirable, Certificate II required as a minimum
- Valid Australian Driver's License
- At least 5 years prior experience working within a rail network
- Competent skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience utilising company specific IT products including Maximo
- Good levels of verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate with a wide variety of people
- Compliance with relevant DTI operating procedures, policies and instructions and must remain aware of the same when performing duties
- Conduct ongoing risk assessment and develop relevant risk assessment documentation
- Ability to implement effective internal auditing
- Understanding of occupational health and safety legislation in place within WA
