We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a well-established team in Queensland. Based in the Brisbane office at Hendra, this position will be to provide health, safety & environmental leadership & results-driven support on safety culture, compliance and standards across the East Coast Business!

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive risk assessment of the scope of operations
• Assist sites in the development of site and task specific risk assessments
• Lead and conduct incident investigations
• Conduct site compliance inspections and HSE audits
• Management of Workers Compensation
• Identify and implement effective HSE initiatives

Qualification & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Mining or Heavy Transport Industry
• Previous industry specific experience in a Health & Safety or Management role
• Safety or related qualification from a tertiary institution
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft word applications
