About the role As a Claims Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our mission to support injured team members.
Your role will involve : Proactive Claims Management : Handle a portfolio of workers compensation claims, ensuring compliance with state laws and policies.
Your efforts will help reduce the impact of workplace injuries while ensuring team members receive their rightful entitlements.Facilitating Resolution : Engage with injured team members and the business to foster understanding, collaboration, and continuous improvement in claims management.Coordinating Services : Manage external service and health providers, gathering information from stakeholders to effectively facilitate recovery.
About you To excel in this role, you should have : Customer Service Expertise : A strong understanding of customer service, with experience in supporting customers through challenging situations.Claims Management Experience : Ideally, 1+ years in workers compensation claims management.
We also welcome applicants with experience in other insurance practices or transferrable skills.Relevant Qualifications : A qualification or certification in a health or business-related field is preferred.
Strong communication skills : Both written and verbal.
Technical Proficiency : Experience with Microsoft Office suite and claims or electronic information management systems.
