About ECHO
ECHO Community Services is a registered charity providing care to the elderly to help them live in their own home with dignity while still maintaining their independence.
We provide in-home services 7 days per week for Home Care Package and 5 days per week for CHSP.
Our goal is to provide services at the same time, on the same day and with the same team of Support Workers which means that you know the people who are coming and the time they will arrive. Having the same support workers providing services, in particular, medication prompts and personal care, maintains the person's dignity and well-being. You know and can trust the people attending. There is continuity of care for people who receive our services.
This is a subcontractor position. You will be working in collaboration with ECHO's Service Team Leader and our valued clients. You will be providing gardening services on behalf of ECHO Community Services to our valued clients.
Mowing, edging and trimming lawns and gardens at various residential locations as required.
Pruning and maintaining a variety of plants, trees and shrubs, and planting when required.
Weeding where required for safety purposes.
Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools.
Ensuring the grounds are safe, tidy and clean for all clients.
Reporting safety hazards and providing feedback on related concerns to the office in timely manner.
Have own ABN.
Have own public liability and indemnity insurance policies.
Have own reliable equipment and tools to provide service.
Have own PPE.
Have strong focus on safety own and those around them when providing services.
Have a reliable vehicle registration and current driver's license.
Have current National Police Clearance within past three months, and able to maintain this.
You will have solid customer service skills and experience in providing gardening services. to a wide range of clients within the community.
