Assistant Project Manager

About the role :

Evoenergy has an exciting opportunity for an assistant Project Manager to join their Program Delivery Team within the Works Enablement Group. This Assistant Project Manager will provide project management assistance and technical advice to deliver complex infrastructure projects including customer initiated works and new technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage smaller projects and assist in managing large projects (Network initiated Customer initiated and new technology projects) to ensure efficient delivery in accordance with Evoenergy systems and processes;
• Provide advice on the planning aspects of projects including technical feasibility project delivery issues and costeffectiveness and innovations in design and / or construction where required;
• Work collaboratively with other Evoenergy staff and external delivery partners to safely deliver high quality outcomes on time and budget;
• Other duties within the position holders skill competence and training as directed

About you

• You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community championing a safe inclusive and respectful environment
• Engineering and / or project management qualifications from a tertiary institution which are relevant to the energy utility industry or recognised equivalent technical experience
• Sound knowledge and understanding of contract management project and program / portfolio management methodologies and tools
• Experienced in Utilities (or similar) construction environment including contractor oversight
