As Bethanie's
- Services Team Coordinator
- you will be responsible for the coordination of residential and community services at Bethanie relative to admissions. This includes coordination of residential bed vacancies across the organisation, placement of potential residents and assisting clients to access Bethanie community services.
Your previous healthcare experience will be utilised to ensure our clients are placed within the appropriate care within Bethanie services. Your passion to help others will support you to liaise with residential site and case managers, Bethanie Connect team, clients and families to successfully ensure each client's needs are identified and recommendations provided.
The role is being offered on a
permanent full-time basis 38 hours per weekand located at Bethanie on Pier, our beautifully appointed offices in Perth.Key Responsibilities :
Maintain communication with Residential sites regarding vacancies and availability of vacant bedsMake recommendations of potential residents to Managers to fill vacanciesScheduling and Coordination of assessments applicable to a range of funding StreamsGuide customers through the process and relevant paperwork for all residential and community funding streamsResponsible for the provision of client focussed services which meet the needs of the individual as well as relevant legislation, program outcome standards and guidelinesMaintain communication with external key stakeholders with regular vacancy updatesCo-ordinate admissions from key stakeholder group by providing excellent communication and attainment of relevant paperworkResponsible for determining eligibility as per the requirements of individual services offered by The Bethanie Group Inc.The provision of other information and / or referrals when having determined that a person is not eligible for services from the Bethanie GroupIn accordance with the Programme guidelines, ensure that information provided to clients pertaining to programs, fee structures and service agreements, are relevant and accurateDisplay empathy and understanding, with a knowledge of boundaries and need for referral where required when working with clients, families, friends of client and relevant othersSkills & KnowledgeWillingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.Nursing or Allied Health qualificationsHigh Level of proficiency with Microsoft office and client Management SystemsExperience in Aged CareHigh level organisation skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to meet flexible works hours with start and finishing times varying between 8am - 5pmWorking with BethanieAt Bethanie we are committed to being an employer of choice by creating a supportive and compassionate environment for our people, customers and residents.
