Sydney-based | $180K base + super + performance bonus

My client is a high-growth, no-BS performance agency partnering with powerhouse brands like DoorDash, Geedup, Love To Dream, and Swyftx — and they're looking for a rare breed : a commercially sharp finance and operations leader who's navigated the fast-paced world of agency life and can turn creative energy into commercial success.

As their COFO, you will take full ownership of the financial, legal, people, and operational pillars that drive this agency forward.

You'll work directly with the Founder and Board to shape strategy and make mission-critical decisions — all with the autonomy and authority to drive real impact.

Your Core Responsibilities

Financial Leadership Own end-to-end financial operations : forecasting, budgeting, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flowMaintain Xero at an audit-ready level with precision and timelinessOversee tax prep and compliance in partnership with external accountantsDrive revenue growth and identify cost-saving efficiencies to improve marginsAnalyse profitability across clients, service lines, and departments to inform strategy? Operational & Strategic Leadership Develop and optimise SOPs across all teams to reduce key-person risk and scale efficientlyRun and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics to the boardDesign and execute long-term growth strategies alongside the leadership teamPeople & Culture Manage payroll, HR compliance, performance reviews, and people processesServe as the escalation point for team and client issuesLead the agency's senior team (Growth, Creative Strategy, Performance, Creative Director)?
