Accountability is currently partnering with a well-recognised professional services organisation that is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team. The position will oversee a payroll of up to 900+ employees alongside a small, collaborative team, all while enhancing the payroll function.
About the role
This role involves taking full ownership of the payroll function, with key responsibilities including :
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a small payroll team in Australia
- Overseeing different pay cycles for approximately 900 employees
- Driving process improvements and implementing best practices
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations
- Streamlining processes to improve payroll performance
