Exciting opportunity for a human resources practitioner with a strong interest in Employee Relations.
The Business Partnerships team is responsible for delivering business partnering services and providing specialised employee and industrial relations advice across a workforce that is 10,000+ strong and growing rapidly.
As a member of the HR Business Partnerships team, the People & Culture Advisor is the first point of contact for people related matters and be assigned a small portfolio group with support and guidance from the wider Business partner team. The People & Culture Advisor will establish trusted and influential relationships, providing award interpretation, advice, and practical support to managers.
Your work will be based out of the Footscray Campus in the Western Suburbs growing healthcare corridor.
You will be part of a supportive team within the People, Culture & Safety Division offering diverse challenging work and opportunties for further professional developement.
A working day will encompass :
First point contact for general enquires-
Providing high level strategic and proactive advice to support the full spectrum of HR issues within an active work environment where no two days are the same-
Working through a broad spectrum of HR matters-
Navigating through change whilst maintaining open communication with unions-
Contributing to organisational reporting and projectsThere are essential requirements outlined in the position description and some desireables. Along with these you will have :
Demonstrated Employee Relations knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks-
A reputation for being a trusted team member, establishing strong relationships-
Ability to exercise the highest level of confidentiality and discretion-
Ability to work autonmously and manage mutliple task; and-
Strong interpersonal skillsWorking hours of 80 hours a fortnight this includes an accrued day off together with negotiated flexible working hours. From time to time you may be required to travel to various locations / sites.
