Omnitronics is a world leader in providing advanced communications (Radio Dispatch - Software and Hardware) technology to support vital industries like resources, ports, emergency services, and more.

The Systems Specialist manages customer projects and support tasks related to Omnitronics radio dispatch systems , including Radio over IP (RoIP) and Voice over IP (VoIP) products .

This role involves planning, designing, testing, and deploying software and hardware solutions, such as embedded firmware, proprietary hardware, VoIP, and IoT devices .

Additionally, the Systems Specialist provides internal support for software, hardware, and IT-related requests while collaborating with the Services and Support Manager and team members to ensure high-quality customer experiences .

The Responsibilities :

As a Systems Specialist , you will manage Omnitronics solution deployments , ensuring seamless project execution, customer support, and system testing.

Key Duties :

Project Execution : Install, configure, and support radio dispatch systems , integrating third-party software and hardware. Travel occasionally for on-site installations and training .
Customer Support : Provide technical assistance via helpdesk, troubleshoot system issues, and analyze network behavior.
System Testing & Configuration : Conduct testing, documentation, and quality assurance for software and hardware.
Technical Contribution & Training : Support sales and marketing with technical expertise , assist in product demonstrations, and contribute to training materials.

About You :

Demonstrated Experience managing installation of software solutions, and also experience with helpdesk / service desk ticketing systems.

Experience with SQL, virtualisation, clustering preferred.

Experience in radio (Analog, DMR or P25 or TETRA) preferred.

Excellent problem solving and well-developed theoretical and analytical skills, including the ability to provide innovative solutions to resolve problems and issues.

The ability to manage, prioritise, and track multiple responsibilities.

Windows OS and Microsoft 365 proficient.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Dedicated team player with ability to multi-task.

Well organised with high attention to detail.

Willing to travel if required, though this would be minimal initially
