At Rio Tinto, it begins with you.We are looking for a Specialist Applications – Technical Systems who will be the subject matter expert in Operational Technology and Applications Management.
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that maximum value is achieved by the customers of IS&T in the operational use / support of the technical systems that supports the mining, processing, supply chain logistics, inventory management processes and other supporting operational systems.Reporting to the Superintendent Technical Systems and working in a collaborative and exciting environment within our IS&T function, you will : Be responsible for managing and maintaining a portfolio of systems (application, data and integration)Be the functional expert for a defined set of applications / interfaces (SME) and provide a detailed definition of how various applications will support business requirements and meet Service Level objectivesMaintain and improve integration and application reference architectures and supporting frameworks.Ensure the application change portfolio is progressing with visibility of the entire change portfolio in mind and within the agreed approvals processes, timeframes, constraints, and standards.Provide consultation to improve existing technical systems.Drive the end-to-end functional definition, design, configuration, and testing of the integrated technical systems solution in line with BU / IS&T strategies and direction.
