- JOB TITLE : HSE ADVISOR - DRILLING
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drilling Contractor documentation review and comment, typically this consists of an extensive list of project documentation i.e., MDLs.
- LWIV Vessel Contractor SMS documentation review.
- Produce Petrofac WHSMP, ERPs, Bridging Docs and other documents required for all wells related activities.
- Support the ROV subsea and wells IMR programs which include wellhead and riser inspections, debris clearing (if required).
- Attend regular drilling team and project meetings.
- Facilitate regular HSE meetings in the lead up to well operations and during well operations.
- Support the vendor contracting process for well related work scopes.
- Participate in methodology workshops, risk reviews and HAZIDs.
- Monitor contractor HSE performance throughout the campaign and tracking of campaign KPIs.
- Support in incident reviews and investigations (as required).
- Support contractor close out meetings.
- Assist with the facilitation of lessons learnt workshops.
- ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor of engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification preferred.
- Minimum years of experience as a Safety Advisor for oil & gas production / processing facilities on projects within Australia.
- Experience in safety assessment studies, risk-based decision-making and safety critical equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of Australian safety regulations and applicable industry codes / standards.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence others and develop strong internal and external relationships.
- Good organizational skills and able to keep clear and precise records and quality documentation.
