Ta / Factory Hand

We are seeking Trade assistants / Factory Hand to work for us with a mining company based in Bassendean.

• About the role
• Local work in Bassendean Engineering Workshop.
• Fettling - removing sharp edges from castings using a grinder
• Using power tools - grinders, drills
• Priming ceramic wear plate and basic assembly.
• Putting rubber liners on ceramic block
• General TA duties within an engineering workshop environment.
• Assisting boilermakers & welders
• 42.90 per / hr + penalties
• Night shift 10 : 00 - 06 : 00
• Immediate Start.
• Ongoing work.
• Skills & Experience
• Ability to do repetitive work in a production environment.
• Ability to do manual lifting as a main task.
• Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing workshop environment desirable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol test.
• Ability to work safely in a fast paced production environment.
• Current Driver's License and Reliable transport.
• Current resume with two contactable work references.
