About The Role

You will be responsible for providing environmental cleaning and patient support services within the 2 Day of Surgery Units.

Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to;

Performing all cleaning tasks to the required infection control standards and within designated timeframe

Transporting patients, providing refreshments, general cleaning

Delivering patients luggage

Utilising equipment and resources effectively and efficiently;

Completing other tasks as directed by the relevant Supervisor / Manager.

Successful candidate will be working across two busy Day of Surgery Units and must be available to work across a Monday to Friday roster and available for Morning and afternoon shifts (between 0600-2030).

About You

Essential criteria :

Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Effective interpersonal communication skills

Demonstrated time management and organisational skills

Possess a positive “can-do” attitude

Desirable criteria :

Certificate II in Health Support Services

Experience working in hospital cleaning.

Requirements

Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months

According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
