Senior Platform Engineer

Do you want to be a key part of a team developing and applying leading-edge technology to develop unique solutions at pace?Join us as we embrace the unknown and deliver clever solutions together!About the Role : We are currently looking for suitably cleared and experienced Platform Engineers, or individuals eligible to hold a security clearance, to work with our Defence clients.

In this role, you will undertake tasks such as but not limited to : Develop, maintain, and optimise infrastructure for a range of projects utilising GitLab.Interact with clients and collaborate with a passionate team of data scientists and software engineers, to evaluate and identify optimal solutions to meet client needs.Provide ongoing enhancements, maintenance and support in existing systems and platforms.As part of the Engineering team, you will participate in release and sprint planning sessions, daily stand-up meetings, sprint demos, retrospectives, story grooming sessions, and any other Kanban / Scrum-related meetings.Roles are hybrid with three days onsite at Edinburgh, SA and two days offsite.

In addition, part-time positions will be considered.What we are looking for : Must be an Australian Citizen willing to obtain or currently holds a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) Security Clearance.A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related discipline.Experience designing, deploying, and managing virtual infrastructure.Experience with DevOps and CI / CD tools (e.g.

GitLab, Jenkins, etc.

Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies (e.g.

Docker, Kubernetes).What is desirable : Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g.

Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, etc.

Exposure to software package management tools (e.g.

Podman, NuGet, crates, pip, etc.
