House Leader Positions Commencing 2026

Parade College, a member of Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA), is committed to fostering holistic growth and excellence in education within a vibrant learning community. Established in 1871, it is the oldest Edmund Rice School in Australia, offering diverse curriculum options including academic, sporting, music, visual arts, and trade pathways.

In 2025, Parade College's VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) program at the Preston campus has become co-educational, welcoming full-time female students into Year 11. The program now includes new Tertiary Pathways, Sport Academy, and Business Academy streams, providing students with direct entry into undergraduate courses at La Trobe University upon completion.

House Leader at Bundoora CampusStudent Wellbeing Leader (Years 10) at Preston CampusThe Position The House Leader oversees the care, wellbeing, and academic progress of students within their House, promoting pastoral care, student wellbeing, and spiritual life aligned with College values. They lead in fostering community, supporting social justice, and implementing student wellbeing policies in collaboration with other House Leaders.

The Classroom Teacher supports student growth academically and personally, inspiring critical thinking and responsible global citizenship. Successful candidates will commence in January 2026, with leadership roles for two years and ongoing teaching positions. These roles include a Leadership Allowance and time release.
