About the role We have an exciting opportunityfor a Central Purchasing Supply Officer to join our dynamic growing team.
If you have strong attention todetail and ability to manage multiple priorities, then we want to hear from you.You will be responsible for coordinating purchasing activities for aviationmaterials, equipment and services by collaborating with various departments andsuppliers across the region to achieve compliance and operational excellence.
Reporting to the Supply &Purchasing Manager you will play a pivotal role in the success of the supplyteam.
Responsibilities of the roleinclude : Sharedmanagement, processing, and monitoring of repairable / rotable parts / componentswith other CPU membersForecasting,review and purchasing of upcoming scheduled items.Sharedprocessing, administration, and monitoring of parts / component warranties withother CPU membersMaintainingappropriate stock levels at all times with continuously monitoring min / maxlevels in consultation with the Supply and Purchasing Manager and Director ofTechnical – APACReviewingand approving incoming purchase requisitions as appropriateLiaisingand actioning requisitions from all Engineering and Service Centre locationswithin the same day whenever possibleLiaisingdirectly with suppliers regarding availability, pricing, and ordersRaisingall purchase orders directly with suppliers as requiredFacilitatingbase to base transfersReviewingall outstanding purchase orders and report weekly.Reviewing,advising, and monitoring expired parts reports for all Engineering and ServiceCentrelocations and bases on first working day of each monthRaisingrepair purchase orders when deemed necessary and following appropriateEngineering consultationEnsureany products found to be non-conforming are immediately dealt with as perLogistics ManualEnsureall logistics tasks are carried out competently and conscientiously inaccordance with the Logistics ManualOthertasks as directed by your manager from time to time.
To be considered for this role,you will need : Aviationexperience desirable, will consider experience in logistics and procurementAnability to interpret technical data correctly and apply the information tosatisfactorily complete purchasing and logistics tasksKnowledgeof aircraft manufacturers and product suppliersRelevantaircraft / product knowledgeAsound understanding of conformity acceptance inspections and processesExperienceusing computerised inventory management systems
