Macmahon Maintenance Masters provides labour support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. Macmahon Maintenance Masters are seeking motivated, reliable and experienced Underground Field Service Mechanics to join the team immediately. Option of Permanent OR Casual Employment to suit you Rates up to $93 per hour Flexible rosters 8 : 6, 2 : 1 or 2 : 2 rosters (FIFO from Perth) Field service utes available Annual loyalty bonus and it gets better every years of service! Paid training : high risk, OEM courses Will be working across multiple underground sites in WA (roving) Salary sacrificing, novated leases, and discounts on over 400 retailers Duties and responsibilities includes but not limited to the following : Scheduled Services, minor rebuilds & ongoing preventive maintenance to a medium fleet of various underground machinery (listed below). Diagnose, Problem solve & Fault find Identify, interpret & repair for reuse any parts & accessories Meet deadlines and achieve desired outcomes in a busy, fully equipped modern workshop Able to work in a multi-cultural work environment Excellent communication skills Able to work unsupervised at times Equipment on sites : Jumbos Sandvik DD421 Production Drill Sandvik DL421 Jumbo Atlas M2D Bogger Sandvik 621i Dump Trucks Sandvik TH663i Dump Truck Atlas 5020 Normet Charmec 1614B IT Loader Volvo 120 Toyota Land Cruiser LV's Skills & Requirements : Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology) Current Manual Drivers Licence (Mandatory) Proven experience on underground equipment Proven experience with major components; including engines, differentials, transmissions, torque converters, final drivers and minor components such as pumps and cylinders Exceptional diagnostic & troubleshooting skills Be More at Macmahon Across Macmahon's team, you will find positive stories of people embracing opportunities to develop and grow their careers going on to celebrate impressive career milestones that contribute to our success.
